Multi-age outdoor communities create an inclusive and personalized environment for learning and development. Children have the unique opportunity to see the value of each individual person as a learner, teacher and teammate. Multi-age learning on the farm is a great way to not only nurture stewardship of the land but to practice empathy and leadership in meaningful ways.

Child and Caregiver Farm Program: Explore, Play, and Grow Together!
2 yrs - 10yrs (+caregivers)
This program offers the opportunity for families to come together as a community to explore natural cycles and seasonal rhythms on the farm through experiential learning, creative expression and play.
In this class, you and your child will:
Each session we move through a daily rhythm that begins with a shared meal, story, or song around a fire or candle. From there, we set off to explore the farm which can include tending to the animals, exploring the play forest, gardening, tractor rides, and more. Each session includes the opportunity to participate in a process over product sensory art experience. We prioritize the children’s interest and needs over any set schedule.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations made in writing 2 weeks before the start date will be accepted. A $50 processing and handling fee will be charged. After that, no refunds will be issued without a confirmed medical reason and a signed note from a doctor.

As a nonprofit organization, Auerfarm relies on your contributions to keep our doors open to the public, free of charge, 7 days a week from 7 am to 7 pm. By participating in programs like these, visiting our farm, and donating to our organization, you are ensuring that Auerfarm can continue to provide the community with engaging educational programming. Parking & Directions
Auerfarm is located off of Simsbury Rd and Route 185. Drive up the 1/2 mile-long gravel driveway and park in the visitors parking lot. Your enrichment educator will meet you inside the welcome center to take attendance and begin your program.
